WOMEN'S MINISTRY ~ CURRENT EVENTS

Ministry Survey:

A Women's Ministry Survey was presented to the ladies of the church on January 31, 2010 via Sunday School & the Church Bulletin. And it's not too late to fill out this survey ~ your ideas, opinions, suggestions and yes,  even your complaints are very important to us. Copies are available in the Church Vestibule and Church Office. The completed survey may be dropped in the baskets provided in the Church Foyer, returned to the Church Office, or handed off  to Robin Lambert.

To date (February 15, 2010), we have received only 28 responses! Thanks to all who shared their thoughts, concerns & dreams with us. And ladies, if you haven't filled out a survey yet, I encourage you to take a moment or two and share your thoughts with us. It's important that the Women's Ministry be RELEVANT to the women of our church; we can't do that if we don't know what is relevant to YOU!

The reponses received indicate that our women:

• Want an additional Women's Bible Study to be taught at night ~ Monday night is the big winner here.
• Top concerns are: Spiritual Growth; Developing a stronger Prayer Life; Studying the Bible in depth; & Developing close, godly friendships.
• Would enjoy attending Ministry Events on a monthly basis ~ convenient nights are split fairly evenly between all of the nights (excepting Wednesday & Sunday) with Saturday night having a slight edge.
• Are interested in participating in a lot of things! Scoring high on the "Interests Question" were: Photography, Painting, Gardening, Crafts, Cooking, Exercise, & a Movie/Games Night.  
• Are overwhelmingly interested in attending a Women's Mini Retreat (to be held at the church).
