Our Ministers

Rev. Al Green, Senior Pastor

Reverend Al Green serves as the Senior Pastor of our church. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi (1971 BS) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1976 MDiv). Al, his wife Emily, and their children came to our church in the year 2000 after serving for 16 years as missionaries in the country of Argentina. We are fortunate to have had Al shepherd our church family during the difficult years following Hurricane Katrina, including his leadership in rebuilding the homes of our church members and those in the community as well as the reconstruction of church buildings.. He likes to preach sermon series each Sunday morning and different topics selected from the “sermon bowl” on Sunday nights, allowing each of us to ask what the Bible had to say about a particular topic

James Reardon, Student Minister

Reverend James Reardon serves as our Student Minister.  He is a graduate of William Carey College and is working on his degree from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  He, his wife Mary, and their daughter moved to Bay St. Louis in the fall of 2009 to minister to the students in our church.   He has the knowledge of a teaching pastor but a heart for mentoring our church’s children up through the ranks of our young men and women.  He also ministers weekly at the Bay-Waveland Middle School and Bay High School during morning  Christian rallies.  In addition to his student emphasis, James has also brought exciting worship and fellowship opportunities to our church family.
